Holidays and primary school memories

Well, I'm coming to the end of a week's cat- and house-sitting as the parent have had a much deserved holiday away in Devon and Cornwall, and I have to admit the time has flown by. It was so easy to slip back into the old ways while here. Eating better - no shops to pop down to for crisps etc., more scope for getting out - sitting in the garden on a sunny day with a book is something I just can't do in Hull and getting a proper nights sleep without anyone else moving about in the background!

The only downside has been the lack of company, apart from Paul as he dropped by for a cuppa while he was out and about driving and delivering. Thats what I've missed most.

The week has given me time, however, to complete something I've been trying to do for a while. Uncertain as to whether I still had a copy, I asked if there was anyone who still had a copy of my primary school class photo of 1982, in the local paper to the school back in the early part of the summer.

Only one reply, the teacher of the class had kept an archive, and forwarded his copy to me. Its been scanned to produce a digital copy, and here it is.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketIts hard to believe this photo was taken 25 years ago. I mean, thats forever ago! I was 11 at the time this photo was taken, one of the many poor ones of me. Looking at the Friends Reunited site, I see some of them are IT consultants and soldiers, married with children too. One or two are still living in the area of the school. That was a good year though, I'd left the past behind and had a fresh start, which did me a lot of favours. Shame I had to go to senior school the following year and have the past catch up with me...

On the remote chance that anyone in the photo sees this, then feel free to contact me, I wouldn't mind getting in touch with you all again.
